Already WAP Enabled?

Most network operators supply Nokia phones with WAP features ready-configured, so you do not have to do anything in order to use WAP. So, for example, when you received a URL, you just need to enter the URL into your WAP browser on your handset, signal allowing, the connection will be made to the WAP site.



Enabling WAP on your UK Mobile Phone

The easiest way to enable WAP is to call the customer service department of your network provider and get them to send you the configuration as a text message.

Orange: Orange call 07973 100150 or 150 from an Orange phone.
02: 02 you will need to contact your 02 service provider, details of whom should be with your phone documentation. If in doubt, ask where you bought the phone.
Virgin: Virgin call 789 from your mobile for assistance with WAP settings.
Vodafone: Vodafone call 196 for the customer care department.
T-Mobile T-Mobile call 150 from your handset.
